Hi I'm Jenny Bardwell and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village with my colleague Susan Brown and we are going to teach you today how to make salt rising bread. Salt rising bread does have a wonderful flavor it's kind of cheesy it's a little tangy and very moist bread. It is very distinctive flavor, different from sour dough or your traditional white breads. The only other thing that is also important about salt rising bread is that it really really requires a lot of patients. It is not a fast bread it doesn't take a short amount of time you have to dedicate at least 24 hours to making this bread. So if you want good salt rising bread you got to be patient.
