Mix Batter for Salt Rising Bread

Hello my name is Jenny Bardwell and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village with my colleague Susan Brown and we are going to teach you today how to make salt rising bread. So we would add some more water and then some flour. You think I should add all this flour Susan? You want it to be slightly thick and all the lumps will not disappear in this when you stir it but that is okay you don't need to worry about that. I think a little bit more flour. Do you? Yeah. Do you usually measure it the flour? I measure about 2 cups and kind of estimate it. So like a thick pancake batter uh. Yeah.
