Hello my name is Jenny Bardwell and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village with my colleague Susan Brown and we are going to teach you today how to make salt rising bread. Another common method that is fairly easy to use for keeping your rising warm is a electric skillet. With this you put the water oh just about maybe 2 cups of water in the bottom of this skillet, you put your jar or crock in the water with your rising ingredients, turn the electric skillet to just the lowest temperature. So here what would it read on this one? Well here it says warm and it might even give a degrees if it is degrees it might even you give you a 100 Fahrenheit as we where saying. You also need to put a piece of plastic wrap, or a jar lid, or some kind of cover on the container of your starter. And just leave that and that can work as well. Another way that people can keep there starter warm overnight is to use a electric heating pad for this you simply wrap your jar or your bowl with your starter in it just like that. Take a towel and wrap the towel around the heating pad, put it again on low and let it go overnight or 8-10 hours and that should work.
