How to Install the Back of a Bookshelf

Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip we will be installing our back. First we need to create a rabbet around our back, then I need to come back and chisel out any corners that aren't squared so that my back corner would fit in there. Next I went ahead and set my back piece on here and I'm marking where I'm going to staple into my cross numbers here. Next I'm going to run a bead of glue around that rabbet on that project, then I going to set my back piece in place and then put some pin nails in place to hold that in place. Once the back is put on you want to make sure to wipe any glue that is squeezed out and put those shelves back in and take a look at it. Everything turned out pretty good on this project.
