Magic GarageBand Tutorial: Part 4

Hello this is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village okay continuing on now with garageband with the magic garageband I showed you how to change all the instruments and how you could jam along with these. Now what if you wanted to actually lay down a track on top of these tracks all you do is go down to this right hand corner where it says create project. And when you click on that it will take the instruments that you choose and create a new project for them. It will take a minute to load them as you can see it brought up the three tracks the upright bass, brushes drum set and suitcase electric piano, and you see there's the whole song, it has a few verses and ending the whole song there. Now you could actually create a new track here and record your guitar or keyboards on top of that and do a mix down and you have a version of your own song with your own solo on it. Now what I forgot to mention about these tracks here these are different from ordinary apple loops where you can't change the keys or change the timing on here. If you wanted to you can go into these and cut them and make loops out of them and then you can bring them back in so you can change the keys and things like that. So that's how you record your tracks and garageband with magic garageband, this is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village.
