George W. Bush Costume Tips for Women

Hi, this is Shana Bethune on behalf of Expert Village and I'm going to talk to you about special things women can do to make their George W. Bush costume look more accurate. So obviously I'm female, so looking like an older man is a little bit difficult for me. But, there are a few things that I've done to make my appearance a little more accurate. First of all, I've selected a suit that's a little tiny too big for me. This makes me look a little bit bigger without having a suit that's too baggy. Also, I put my hair all the way back and used a lot of hairspray to make sure that every loose end is in place and not sticking out. Cause even one pin roll hanging down will give away everything. I've also given myself a little bit of a 5 o'clock shadow, maybe it's more like a 2 o'clock shadow because most men have a little tiny bit of facial stubble showing and women, most women at least don't naturally have this. Also, most womens lips are a little bit forward than most mens lips. So I solved this problem by putting foundation over my lips completely. Also, my eyebrows are shaped narrower than most mens eyebrows. So I used a little bit of eyeliner to make my eyebrows fill out a little bit more. I've also added some lines on my face, that are more typical for men than for women. And sideburns, make sure you use some fake hair or some eyeliner to fill in your sideburns. Also, remember to take off any sort of earrings or feminine jewelry that you may have on. It's also a good idea not to be wearing nail polish. If you have bright red nail polish on, it could be a little bit confusing for some people. You also want to make sure that your chest is as flat as possible, so today is not a good day to wear a push up bra. Make sure you wear something like a sports bra or something else that'll make you a little more constricted.
