Hair Styling Tips for Rock Star Costumes

Hi! This is David Jackel on behalf of Expert Village, and I'm here to talk to you about styling your hair for your rock star costume. Now, let's say that you decide that you don't want to go with a wig, you want to try styling your hair yourself. There are a couple basic things you're going to need. First of all, you're going to need hairspray because after you're done styling your hair, you need to hold it in place. So, get some good hair spray that's going to hold it all together. You're going to need some sort of product that you can put in your hair to get it the shape you want. In my case, I want to make my hair really messy. Something like this adds to my curls. A brush may not be necessary if you're going for really messy hair, but you are going to want to have a blow dryer so you can help shape it. What I recommend doing is getting some product like this, put bunch in your hands. Normally, you would want to do this in front of a mirror. Mush it all in your hair like that, scratch your hair to make it really messy. Then get out your hair dryer, blow dry is for a little bit, and then shake up your hair spray and let it rip. Now, this may not be the hair style that you're actually going for, but if you have some hairspray, some hair product, and a hair dryer, with a little work you can make a hair style that matches what you want, as long as you've got the hair to do it.
