Kitchen Fire Prevention & Safety
Some fire safety tips for your kitchen would be not to have your toaster plugged in too close to the sink or where water might be. It might start an electrical fire, or electrical shock. Move the toaster over somewhere else on the counter. On the oven, you need to make sure that the oven is cleaned properly- you don’t want any food buildup in there, and then you can possibly start a fire that way. Grease fires on the stove- make sure you do not put water on a grease fire, it’ll just spread the fire across the rest of the stove. That’s why it’s a good idea to have a fire extinguisher under the sink or next to the stove.
