This is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village in this clip I would like to show you the powerful amp simulation in garage band. Now we're going to go under track, we're going to create a new track and make sure you choose real instrument track. We already have a guitar going into our 3rd input and we can put monitoring on, make sure we can hear it. (playing) Now when you go under your guitar sounds you can see you have a whole list of sounds here. You can choose clean jazz (playing) and you can go right to arena rock (playing) or right to a Texas Blues sound. (playing) Now the way that you do that is through amp simulators. An amp simulator they're very popular now a days especially with a brand called Line Six, and we're going to bring that up and basically what you can do is choose all different amplifiers from British Clean, to American Clean, these are all based in popular amplifiers. And just by choosing a different amplifier and changing the settings you can get a unique sound and that's how you use the amp simulator in garage band, I'm Bill Macpherson for Expert Village.
