How to Split & Join Tracks on GarageBand

This is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village continuing on now in garage band I would like to show you how to split and joint regions for individual track. I'm going to select my bass guitar here and if we just drag in the time line we'll go to measure three and then go under edit, hit split. Now you can see that it split the track right there at measure three and we can do it again say at measure 7, edit, split, now you can see that we have an individual section here that we could drag and move. You can also copy and drag and if you want to you can select two sections go under edit, and join the two and now you have one, you can also move and drag. And that's how you split and join track regions in garage band, I'm Bill Macpherson for Expert Village.
