Tips for Bathroom Breaks in Trick or Treating

Hello, my name is Matt Cail on behalf of expertvillage.com, I'm here today to talk about trick or treating safety. Okay, so everything is set to go. You have your costume squared away, you have good shoes on, plenty of light, supervision. What else is to be done? One of the easiest things to overlook, the last thing you want is to be two blocks into trick or treating and suddenly you notice your little trick or treater is jumping up and down because they have to use facilities. You don't want them going in the rose bushes, you don't want them knocking on doors saying trick or bathroom. So make sure before you leave, one of the last things that you do is to make little Johnny, Jackie, Janie, go and use the bathroom. They will thank you later on, this is a very exciting time of year for children and it'll be very easy for them to suddenly have to go and then they have to trudge all the way back home. This is less of a concern say if you were to also mix in a mall trick or treating or just be at the mall trick or treating. In that situation there should be public facilities available to the children. But if you're going with the traditional, like neighborhood routes where you're going house to house and it's going to be lasting a couple of hours, if you want to have a comfortable time and if you want to avoid a lot of back tracking, it's very important to squeeze in that last bathroom break just before you go out trick or treating.
