Child Safety for a Giant Halloween Spider Web

Hello, my name is Matt Cail on behalf of expertvillage.com, I'm here to talk about spider web decorations. Okay, now that you have your spider webbing, a couple of quick safety tips before you start putting it up. First off if you have allergies, you should avoid getting the spider webbing near your nose, that's good, set them off and you don't want to be spending especially while trying to hang spider webbing on the walls, sneezing on stuff, that's not fun at all. Something else to keep in mind is safety around children, there's not a year that goes by that there's not some case of mistaken cotton candy identity. Some child thinks this is candy and tries to starts eating it, it always ends bad. So make sure that you supervise your children if they're helping you put up the spider webbing. The last word of advice is safety with heights. If you find yourself reaching, especially if you're reaching over banisters or other higher surfaces, make sure that you have either a very sturdy chair or even better yet get a 2 to 3 foot ladder. You don't want to be reaching with this, you could end up falling and usually if you're really stretching to tape this spider webbing, the results are not nearly as good as if you have plenty of room and it's very, very easy for you to reach and grasp with the spider webbing.
