Hey guys! My name is J and I am talking to you on behalf of Expert Village. I am going to be talking to you guys here in this clip about free cooking tips for your German Potato Salad. By free cooking I mean stuff you can do before you actually get started. You have your pot on your actual stove and you can bring them up to about medium heat on both of them. That way they will get nice and hot and they are ready to use when you need to use them. Another thing I would suggest for you to do is actually cut your potatoes up into thin slices. That is a very good tip because they cook faster in the water rather than a whole potato. You are having to cook little thin pieces like this and that way it cooks a lot quicker and you are not sitting around waiting for the potatoes to boil. You also want to add your potatoes to the actual water. You can do that before that boils and that way they are evenly cooked all the way through. That is my tips for pre-cooking.
