Making Frozen Indian Mango Lassi
Aloha, this is Sonia Martinez from the big island of Hawaii on behalf of Expert Village. This is a variation of the lassi, we are going to be doing sort of like a frozen lassi. We have frozen ahead of time some mango chunks, and that's about a full mango. We froze some yogurt and we will add a little bit of honey to it. By freezing it ahead of time, this is done over night so you know so you know that it was fully frozen, and we're going to go ahead and add our honey. And, since it is a frozen and ice cream we do want a little bit sweeter in my opinion. You want to make sure that all of it gets down to the blade part. We're using the regular ice blade that comes with any food processor. There we go. Smooth and nice and creamy, you can just, it's going to be too smooth really for an ice cream scoop but you can scoop it into a wine glass, a martini glass is great because it's open. And, we're going to use a little bit of mint and a little slice of mango just to show what it is.
