Add German Pancake Mixture to Pan

Hi! My name is Kip Bradford and I am here on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip we are going to put our German Pancake mixture into our pre-heated dish and begin to bake our German Pancake. Now add the butter. It will sizzle and slide around and you want to make sure it is good and melted before you add your German Pancake mixture. I never use a pan that has higher than a 3 inch side and what you will see when the German Pancake bakes, it will rise really tall. The middle sometimes will come up fairly tall but not always, but the sides will and at the edge of those sides that come up will get darker and a little more crunchy. That's good. You want that. The butter is melted and we will now add the German Pancake mixture and then we will place it back in the oven.
