Different Pans for German Pancake Recipe

Hi! My name is Kip and I am here on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip we are going to discuss the different types of dishes you can use to make German Pancakes. It doesn't matter that much what type of dish you use; number 1 if it is oven safe. You don't want to use one with the side that is taller than 3 inches. Now we are going to prepare the German Pancake that we are doing in this dish but often times when we have people over for lunch, we will do a dish something like this or even a clear glass dish. Another dish that works really well and I don't have any is a cast iron dish but the nice thing about doing individual servings is you will see once we've cooked our or baked our German Pancake, it is very unique to look at and to make them as individual servings as a special treat in and of itself so you can impress your friends by doing individual servings. Another good reason to serve the German Pancake in individualized size serving dishes, is that the German Pancake should be served very hot right from the oven and so yes, it will impress your friends to taken time to give them their own serving dish but it will also enable you to serve it as quickly as possible and preserve the unique look of the German Pancake.
