Fire Safety Equipment to Keep in your Home
A few things to have in the house for fire safety would be a smoke detector for at least each room. You need a fire extinguisher in the kitchen and the garage. A carbon monoxide detector where you might have any gas appliances, whether it be by the fireplace or by the kitchen. A fire safety ladder if you have a two story or more building. You can get that at your local hardware store.
With your fire and smoke detectors, and your carbon monoxide detectors, remember to check the batteries at least once a month. Change out the batteries during the yearly time changes which will be twice a year. On your carbon monoxide detectors, they have a filter that can get clogged. That needs to be blown out because it can give you a false reading, or you can just buy you a new one.
