Finding Add-ons & Extensions for Firefox

Hi, I'm Gary for Expert Village. Now the nice thing about Firefox is the extensions which are different types of pieces of software that can be added to the Firefox browser. It can really be used for to be really helpful different little tools and utilities that can be used while surfing. In order to access them we're going to type in a web page we're going to type in addons.mozilla.org and that will bring us up to the Firefox addons page. We'll be able to download different types of extensions we'll see that on the page there are a lot of different types of utilities that we can use. You can find first of all the explanation of addons in general and also each individual component that can be added in as a nice explanation of exactly what it does. And you can find a lot of things if we click on extensions we see that it's broken down into categories and let's for example go to downloading and file management. And we'll see that we have little, they're called extensions of basically just little pieces of software that can be added onto the browser that will help us do different things, and they will appear on the browser on our tool bars menu. You'll see a new creation of an icon that will be directly related to that piece of software that extension that you just loaded. So here we have an example of fast video downloaded extension which will help us while we're for example while we're on the internet we can download different types of files that we might not necessarily have been able to download. Or to be able to download them at a faster pace so these are some really nice features it's nice to just check back often and to see if there's any new features that have been added but it's very helpful it really makes it much easier to do a lot of things while browsing with Firefox.
