Hi! I"m Gary for Expert Village. When we have tabs opened in Firefox, there is an option to close the tab with a little red x that is located at the end of the tab that we are viewing. This is sometimes an inconvenience for people because they accidentally closed tabs while they really want to continue viewing the page that is being shown there. So in order to shut this little red x, in order to shut it off, we won't that option to close the tab and therefore not accidentally closing the tab, we go into our confirguration page which is about :config. We go to it just as an HTML page. We go to it as a new web page and we look for the setting that is called browser:tabs:close buttons and that setting should be changed to the number 2 instead of 1 and that will remove all of the little red x's at the end of the tab so that you won't accidentally close any ofr the tabs by clicking on that x. Now you will have a single closed tab button at the right end of the tab bar. When that is clicked, that tab will be closed.
