the cup size measuring she gives doesn't make sense. She says "we had 32 and now we have 33....".where did those numbers come from? Not clear at all.

How to Measure for a Bra

I'm Alison from “ Faire Frou Frou” in Studio City on behalf of Expert Village and in this clip we would be talking about measuring for a bra and fitting for the perfect fit. What a couple of things you should look out for when fitting for a bra is that the center panel hits directly into your skin between your chest and the cups lye directly in as well. You don't want any puckering or gaping and mainly you just want to make sure that the bra is comfortable. You want to make sure that the band around you is not making you sore or you really don't want to have to feel your bra right after a long day of wearing it. I will demonstrate over here on this mannequin how to measure for a bra and it is really quiet simple to do. All you do is just take a regular tape measure and you measure around your torso right below the bust line and you get this measurement here so we have 26 inches and then you add 1,2,3,4,5, to it and you have 31 inches. Because bra sizes only go to even numbers you would round up to the next number so this bra would be 32 band. Now in the terms of the cup size you just measure around the bust line again and this time you actually measure directly across the chest and before we had lets see a 32 and now we have a 33 and so there is a 1 inch difference a 1 inch 2 inches then we measure is actually the cup size. So 1 inch is a A cup, 2 inches is a B cup so in this case this bra would be a 32B on this mannequin and that is how we do it.
