Hello, I am Jeff Trentham, I am the children’s pastor at Calvary Church and I would like to come to you on behalf of Expert Village just to give you some insight on how we capture the attention of kids and how we keep them energized and excited. Here is another game that we like to do and it is called ‘The Baby Bottle Game’ and basically you just give a kid a baby bottle full of whatever kind of juice that you want. If you wanted something really gross you can or if you want Pepsi, whatever, and put it in there and you might have a bib that the kid would strap around their neck. And on the whistle when you blow the whistle, they begin to chug-a-lug and get it down as quickly as they can. And one little tip is I would cut a little bit bigger hole in the top because they might just have a real difficult time getting that juice out. So do that and then on your go, you say go and they go ahead and chug-a-lug and the first person that finishes is first place. And of course after every game we always give away prizes, so we will give away our first place prize which might be, let’s say that if it were surfboards, it might be ten surfboards. And our second place prize would be five surfboards or three pieces of candy for first place, and one piece of candy for second place, but everybody is a winner in children’s ministries.
