Greed Game for Youth Groups

Hello, I am Jeff Trentham, I am the children’s pastor at Calvary Church and I would like to come to you on behalf of Expert Village just to give you some insight on how we capture the attention of kids and how we keep them energized and excited here at Calvary Church. We have ministered over 400 kids every week. There is another game that we call ‘Greed’ and this is a fun game because the kids get to come up and they do a little contest. We sit a bucket of candy out in the center and put kids on either end and give them a time limit of 30 seconds or whatever it is and I will say ‘Set – Go’. And they will run to the candy bucket and grab one piece of candy and take it back to their location and drop it off, come back and do it again and keep doing that until I say ‘Stop’. And if I say stop at the end of the 30 seconds and they are not touching their home base then they lose all of their candy. So they have to be careful to make sure that they are touching that home base before I say stop so that they can get to keep their candy. It is a fun game, they love it, and it is called ‘Greed’.
