Well we just completed the washing of the hands. The next step that we are going to move to is the applying of the polish to the nail. So what we are going to do, I am going to take my finger, the first step that we are going to do is the base coat. The base coat is the first coat that we put on the nail and this is what helps the polish to adhere to the acrylic nail. So what we are going to do, and what you need to do whenever you apply this, apply just a really light layer on here. You don't want to get it too thick now because it dries pretty fast. Just apply that all over the nail. The base coat helps the polish to adhere to the nail. It's the first step in applying the polish. If you don't apply the base coat to the nail the color polish can really stain the artificial nail and you don't want that to happen because once you remove the polish it can really stain it. So what we are going to do, go ahead and just take the polish and just go straight down, just like that. Just get a little bit more on your brush, just take that polish right back to the cuticle. And whenever you apply the polish, you want to make sure that you are really careful and especially when you do bright colors, you don't want to get that on your skin, and if you do we can always go back and take that off. Apply that right on there. And also too, whenever you are applying the polish color, you always apply two coats of color when you apply the color. This is why it's really important that your nail is very smooth so it just looks really natural. And you will just go through and apply this technique to all the other nails and that is one coat. And then once you have completed all the other nine nails then you are going to go back and you are going to apply one more coat of color. And since we just have the one finger, this is not dry yet, but what we are going to go ahead, we are going to go ahead and apply the top coat. What you want to make sure on the top coat, the top coat seals in the color and it keeps it from rubbing off and you always want to make sure that you use a really good top coat. You just start at the back of, the base of the nail in the back and just bring that top coat straight down. And when you apply the top coat, make sure it's just a very thin layer directly on top of that color and just smooth it all the way down to the end. And also too when you apply that top coat you may want to just go ahead and take it down here on this free edge. And now we have finished the acrylic tip with polish.
