What to Do When you Catch your Puppy Having an Accident
Hi, my name is Tracey Tenner, this is Doc. I’m the resident dog trainer and behaviorist here at Extra Care Hospital in Davy, Florida. We are here to talk to you today about how to house train your puppy. I recommend that you keep a leash dragging on the puppy and if you see him or her starting to make a mistake you say no, in a very firm tone of voice, grab the leash and run all the way to the door while fussing at your puppy. No, no, no, shame on you. Whatever you want to say is fine but try to be consistent. No, what are you doing? No, potty outside, Outside, let’s go. As soon as you get to the door you change your entire tone of voice to a happy praising tone, potty outside. Good boy. Go potty outside. Good Doc. Go potty. Hurry up. Good puppy
