Leash Dragging Technique : Tips for Housebreaking Puppies
Hi, my name is Tracey Tenner and this is Doc. I’m the resident dog trainer and behaviorist here at Extra Care Hospital in Davy, Florida. We are here to talk to you today about how to house train your puppy. It is often a good idea to keep a leash dragging on your puppy that way if he or she starts to have an accident you have instant access to them and more importantly they know you have access to them. If you make the mistake of grabbing for your puppy as soon as they go to have an accident, you can cause something that we call hand shyness where a puppy is afraid to come to your hands.
