as she shows us the bowl it's difficult to see the "soft peaks" and "stiff peaks." it would be helpful if the bowl were tilted toward the viewer. also you can make whipped cream using the beaters of your mixer. it is said to only use the wisk. i don't have one. make sure the beaters as well as the bowl is cold!

How to Make Whipped Cream

To make whipped cream first start off with heavy cream. You want to make sure that your heavy cream is nice and cool as well as your bowl this will help the cream stand up a lot better. Next, you want to start with your hand mixer with the whisk attachment or if you don't have one of those you can always use a whisk or if you don't have a whisk you can also use a stand mixer with a whisk attachment. Next, we're going to whip the cream until it gets nice and fluffy and it's going to form soft peeks. Once we hit soft peek stage, you can add any extras that you'd like; for example, sugar or vanilla or anything like that. Here we have the soft peek stage. As you can see when I lift my whisk through the whipped cream, it still falls over as a peak. At this point you can add any sugar. I'm going to whip it a little bit more until I get stiff peaks. Here you can see I'm at stiff peaks stage. When I run my whisk through the whipped cream, it stands and makes little peaks that hold. And that is how you make whipped cream.
