How to Use a Zester

A zester is something that's going to remove the zest or the rind of a product. For example, a lemon. Whenever you zest something you want to make sure that you don't get any of the pit or the white part because that's the bitter part. In order to do this you need either a Microplane zester, which removes the zest in small little amounts, like this one here. Or, a chino zester which will remove the zest in longer shreds. And, these are zesters.
