Harvesting Honey From a Bee Hive

So we’re going to check out what we have in here. This is a way to separate the frames in order to see. You can see there, we have honey only. This is honey that is ready to harvest. It is honey that has been capped already and this kind of frame can be harvested. On this side we have honey also but it’s still not totally capped. This part is capped honey and they’re building up the honey content in these cells and when it’s filled and dehydrated by the air they put into the bee hive, in and out, and then they cover it with this.
