Using Barrettes for Short Hairstyles
Hi! My name is Dawn Shannon, owner of Intuition Salon & Spa. I am also a hairstylist and you can visit us on the web at www.intuitionsalonandspa.com. Now we are going to discuss barrettes for short hair. The first barrette we are going to use is a small one. It opens like that and we are going to put it right at the bang. You need to decide whether you need want a little bang down or all the bangs back. If you decide you want them all back, I suggest you use a little hairspray, try not to spray the clip or you can pull out a little bit of hair and go for a sassier look. You can also put it in a side like this. Now for the flat bang you want to make sure that they stay down and then you can take and put the barrette right here and then you can also spray that hair. And if you want to make sure like some of these hairs are not going to fall out, you can also take a small bobby pin and pin those. Another thing you could do is you can put a clip right here; we are going to use this pink one and this adds to the short hair and makes it look more dressy. You can also pin it here. Another thing that looks good too is you could take a small hair bobby pin and you could pin it in through here and then you push it in so that it goes under the hair. You can also put this one on the other side and you do not want to open the pin. You just gently put it there and then you do not see it; this is what it looks like from the front. You can also put in other pins too and just be creative like you can put one up here. And that is it for small hair clips for short hair.
