How to Use Effects with your Electric Guitar

Hi! My name is Mike Larney from the band Naked Underneath, and on behalf of Expert Village I am going to go over effects and how they are relative to your electric guitar. Most effects are going to be some of your basic effects anyways; it will be included in your amp. Now my amp has a clean sound, a distortion sound, and also a reverb, so I can get those three effects right out of my amp. Now let me demonstrate: with a sound like clean, it is just the regular strings going through the amp. Distortion, it is little fuzzier… and then to reverb, it is more of an echo… if your amp does not have it, not to worry, there are pedals that you can get that will be anything that you can ever imagine. This one is here is for digital delay, which, we just…when I play the note, it will play again and again, so I can set all the settings as far as how I want it to delay in that way; you can get distortion pedals, you can reverb pedals, you can get acoustic pedals, and chords pedals, and anything that you want you can get at your local music store. Just go in and play around with them.
