Playing The Pattern Game

My name is Courtney on behalf of Expert Village and in this clip I'm going to show you a fun way for your kids to practice patterns. I'm going to use just some pom-poms we got at the craft store and the smaller size is best because you get more in a package. What we're going to do is roll a dice, five, the object is to make a pattern using just five pom-poms, and remember, a patter is something that must repeat. I'm going to take a brown, a green, brown, green, purple, brown, green. So, here I have a pattern using just five pom-poms. Then, they roll again, two, green, purple. Roll again, four, do purple, blue, purple, and then blue and this just continues making as many patterns as they can think of.
