Performing the Box Step Turn for the Wedding Dance

On behalf of Expert Village I'm Tony Meredith and I'm Melanie LaPatin, we're here at Dance Time Square in the heart of New York City to show you how to do your wedding dance. And now we put that together. We again, take dance position. Make sure our shoulders are down, stomach in, bum tucked under, and we go together. Turn, two three, four, five, six. One, two, three, four, five, six. And again, like Melanie said, those four quarters actually bring us right back to the beginning, where we started. Now, if you like, you can under turn that box and we'll just demonstrate an under turn type dance. One, two, three, four, five, six. One, two, three, four, five, six. That time we only turned a half a turn together. OK, lets try that one more time. For this time we would have one, two, three, four, five, six. One, two, three, and four, five, six.
