Cook Vegetables for Cream of Mushroom SoupHi, I'm Greg from Expert Village and today we are going to make cream of mushroom soup. We'll start cooking the vegetables by adding the butter and melting it on a low heat, then add the onions. You want these cooked until they are transparent. Once they are, add only our minced mushrooms. Keep it on a low heat because all excess butter has already been absorbed by the mushrooms. Just let this cook for 2 or 3 minutes.
