This is Ben Ingham with Expert Village talking about a walk out basement. On the sides of each side I want dirt to fill in there and I would be building up a wall in between the cinder block wall the dirt wall to keep the dirt and sand that I have back filled with from washing out in the front. Cause I still want it to continue to be a walk up basement. So I would build some kind of wall that would hold the dirt back there are cinder blocks that are made particular fashion that locks to each other and you can drive them into the ground and that would be a way that you can build it up and it would hold the soil back on both sides because I don't want the dirt to be washing out and coming back around here. I want it to be held back so right now I just have some rubble left over cracked and broken blocks that I just stuck in there in the mean time just to keep from washing out during a rain storm.
