Tips on Rope Toys for Dogs

Hi, this is Elise McMahon for Expert Village.com and in this video series we are talking about dog toys. If you would like to find out more about my services, you can visit my website at www.canineheadstart.com. So we are going to be talking about different types of toys and in this little clip we are talking about rope toys. What are rope toys? Some times they are called dental rope chews. Basically it is just a rope that is knotted into some form for the dog to play with. They are often colorful. This one is pink, purple and blue. This would be appropriate for a small to medium sized dog. This is another type of rope toy. This rope toy actually has a rubber chewy that is attached to it. This would be appropriate for a medium to large sized dog. This toy you could actually pretty well play tug of war. You can also play fetch because of the rubber cong thing on it. This rope toy has actually been sort of combined into a plush squeaky rope toy. The rope is on the outside. The plush monkey is on the inside. It has a rattle and it also has a squeaker. It did have a squeaker but the squeaker has been de-squeaked. You can see that there are a number of different kinds of rope toys that you can get. This type of toy here they do make them smaller and make them quite large. Some dogs like playing with these a lot. You do want to be careful and watch your dogs when they are playing with these. If they are shredding it and ingesting the material, you want to take them away from your dog immediately.
