How Big Are South American Goldfish?

Hi! My name is Sally with expertvillage.com with Fish Fantasy at Riverside. We are going to be speaking about how to buy healthy fish. These are both African and South American and typically we don't do that. The reason we are doing that here is first off, we have a really big tank and they are selling at real fast. They are all getting along but the problem is South American usually gets 2 to 3 times larger than the Africans and then they pose a problem. Most of your South American get anywhere from 6 inches to about 10 so they are very aggressive as they mature and they become even more territorial than the Africans. Africans usually max out at 6 to 10 inches. Mostly your Caprichromis will max out about 10. These max out at about 6 inches.
