The next exercise I am going to demonstrate for you is called a single leg stretch. You are going to start lying flat on your back. Go ahead and bring both knees into your chest and I want you to take your right hand, grab hold of your right knee, extend that left leg out in front of you. Navel to spine, neutral alignment in your spine letting that left leg hover over the floor pointing your toe. Left hand comes down to grab hold of the right ankle. Option 1 you can do this exercise with your head on the floor. For a little bit more of a challenge, you can go ahead and lift your head off of the mat, chin to your chest, engaging your abdominals and you are going to pulse that bottom leg twice, exhale, exhale, inhale, keeping the legs in the same plane and switch. Exhale, exhale. Your hands are getting placed at the same spot on each leg. Exhale, exhale. Keeping your body in proper alignment, inhale and exhale and exhale. Perfect. Your legs are the only thing moving, your abs are really tight. Inhale and exhale and exhale. Perfect.
