Ingredients for Guacamole Recipe

On behalf of Expert Village this is Ian McSwain of Passion Foods in Miami, Florida and today we're showing you a quick and easy Mexican recipe. Today I'm going to be making guacamole. Also in guacamole I prefer a traditional Mexican recipe and I've been to Mexico a few times. Avocado like I said, is fresh cilantro, bit of salt, jalapeño, fresh lime, a little bit of onion. Some people don't use olive oil or oil, I add in just a little bit to give it a little richness and also to serve the guacamole on, I use fresh corn tortillas. Which I'll show you how to slice in triangles and deep fry. Here in the United States I find it that most people prefer flour tortillas. I like corn tortillas, it has more traditional original flavor, it's a little bit sharper and I think they really go as well with guacamole or any Mexican dish.
