Using Tick Collars on Dogs & Cats

This is Dr. Greg McDonald for Expert Village.com and I want to talk to you about a tick collar that I really do like and I think that because of the nature of ticks where they will almost always attach around the neck of the animal, this tick collar works very well for dogs. It lasts a long time and if you are still picking up ticks when you are hiking your dog, you can take it off of him and put in a Ziploc bag and only use it on the dog when you are hiking that way it will last probably the whole tick season for you. Again, I like this product because once the ticks get on your dog it makes them unable to attach to your dog and that is why this is really such a good product. Once again, I don’t like the flea collars for dogs because it only covers the neck. This only covers the neck and that is where mostly the ticks go so it is an excellent product.
