How to Pick a Video Projector for Home Theater Systems

Hi, this is expertvillage.com, we're at Leigh Adams Discount Sales and my name is Daniel Daly. Today we're going to be demonstrating how to set up your perfect home theater be it a little screen LCD, big DLP's, even giant screens on the wall. As you can see here we have this in about the middle of the room. Just so you all know, they're not all this big, this would be that thirty thousand dollar one. If you have it too close you're going to have to aim the projector down, it's going to have to scale accordingly, and you're going to get kind of a slanted picture. If it's too far away you'll miss out on a lot of light and you'll get a worse picture. The most important factor in considering any TV or a projector or any system is, to most people's surprise, is the processor. The reason why this is thirty thousand dollars is because it has a processor that's capable of taking your standard DVD and making it look high definition. If you don't have a good processor, like if you go and get yourself a bargain TV from Bob's TV Market you won't even spend like five hundred dollars for it, you get what you pay for. The processor is what takes that picture and shapes it to output the needed resolution of your screen. What this means to you is you get a DVD and make it look high definition. These all have their own resolutions, you want your source to match your picture.
