Learn Bass & Melody for the Jazz Guitar

On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Jim Dufresne, and I'm here to tell you about jazz guitar. Another example of a song with bass line that works very well is this one...(plays)... That's a fun one to do. (plays) As you can see, you just start on C and just go on down diatonically...C-B-A-G-F-E-D-C-B-A, it's fun. So then you've got the melody on top (plays). That's a good stretch right there. If you can do that stretch, then you're doing just fine.
