Different Tubs for Bathing a Baby

Hi, I'm Liz Hood on behalf of Expert Village and right now I am going to go over the types of tubes that you can use to give your baby a bath. Now this first one is made by Safety First. Put it inside of the adult tub. You can also close this hole and you can kind of just have it water tight, you can put it on your kitchen cabinet next to your kitchen sink and give him a bath there. Or just put it into your regular tub. I would, myself be afraid to put a three or four week baby into a huge adult size tub, just because babies are extremely slippery and very random, you don't know what kind of movement they are going to make next. So it is better to have them in a more enclosed space than just in a adult tub, plus it is a little bit safer. There is also this tube which I like to use, it is also made by Safety First. It kind of has a little hammock that goes fits over the same type of tub that that would and I think it is more comfortable for him, so this is the one that I like to use for my baby. Other stuff they have available is little sponge type things that have a cutout of a baby on it. You can put that on the bottom of the tub, lay the baby down on it and put like about an inch or so of water in the tub and that is good too. If you are a brave soul, what you can do is you can just lay a towel on the bottom of the adult size tub and you can just wash the baby in there. Or you can also just wash the baby in the kitchen sink if it is large enough. Put a little hand towel on the bottom of that so it is more comfortable. So anyway it just depends on what you would like to spend, what is given to you or whatever, but all choices are good choices, it just depends on your preference.
