Hi this is Shana Bethune on behalf Expert Village I'm going to talk to about making sure your office is comfortable entire studies have been done on how people interact at the work spaces. What affect does these work space have on there physical health and there mental health and all sorts of things. So it's very important to take into consideration how you interact with your workstations how it's setup the sort of furniture you have, and what affect that has on your physical health. First of all you want to make sure that your computer screen is at least 24-36" away from your eyes and you also want to make sure that the top of your monitor is below eye level. If your monitor is to far away you can strain your eyes just trying to see it and if it's too close the light can really harm your eyes as well. Also when your working your feet should be on the floor firmly so you don't want a chair that's to high. Reclining slightly is actually better for you because it reduces pressure in your lower back and can also reduce pain. Also make sure that you have a comfortable chair because a comfortable chair is sometimes more important than having a chair that looks cool. So remember when choosing and arranging your furniture you also need to take into consideration your comfort level because ultimately this is the most important thing.
