Now we are going to do a little more advance reading so we put a little quick sample up here. S o now when you are reading your are going to see you are going to have your treble cleft and your key. Make sure when you see this key it is in the key of A flat major. You also probably see some A flat major chords in there but here you basically have A flat so you are at 1 major, F minor remember that is your relative minor, relative minor. Then B flat minor, you 2 minor and your 5,7 E flat 7. So now we are going to go through and read the melody so it starts right here 3rd degree on the note so you got 3,5,3,5,3, sharp 2 into the regular flat. So see you have this natural in there so it is a passing tone so you are going to use the note above the E flat. So bub, bub, bub so notice we put a flat in front of the E flat again to note that you are going to go back into the scale there. So let's play it really quick you got. Repeat. So what you want to do is get the melody down first with the chords.
