Chord Progressions for Jazz Piano in Ab Minor

So now we are going to do some more right hand stuff in the key A flat major. So let's start with the white chord 1 major. So I'm doing a melody it is just 1,3,5 based of what is called the triad and I can go up to the 6. I can do it with the 6 chord. So I'm just putting a simple chord progression underneath 1,6 and then do a quick 2,5 back into it. Now what Brazilian composer or Latin uses is this cleshay. So in, out, in, out of the scale so you just do that chromatic half step back to the scale so let's do it with that. (playing piano) So those are some simple numeric ideas for the key of A flat that you can utilize.
