Hello! My name is Terry Neven. I am the administrator of California Home Educators and principal of Sunland Christian School. In this clip we are going to talk about colleges and universities. You know anyone can go to college whether you've received a diploma or not but home school students can take college courses while they are in high school as well as go to college full time during their high school years or after they've earned their diploma. Many home school students are desired by universities such schools as USC, UCLA, Harvard, etc. desire home schoolers because they've shown themselves to be self-motivated and self-directive. But just like anyone trying to attend the university, you do have to be prepared to work it through in advance. Contacting the university of choice, knowing what your major is, maybe taking the SAT or ACT test, applying to the university and working through your pre-requisites. Home schoolers are going to college and universities in record numbers.
