How To Do The Cat Cow Yoga Pose

Hello, my name is Samantha Raphael on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip I'll be demonstrating Cat Cow Pose. To begin, start on all fours, your shoulders should be aligned with your wrists, palms of the hands are grounded into the earth, and the knees are level with the hips. So, you really need to follow your breath on this one. With an inhale tilt your tail bone up, lift your chest, leaning forward so your chest can come through your arms a little bit and then as you exhale through your nose, tuck your tail bone all the way under, the belly is going to lift towards your spine, relax your head, feel that nice stretch along your spine. Grounding into your hands, reaching out of your shoulder and then with an inhale come back into Cow Pose. Taking an inhale, gazing up, and exhale and round your back, tucking your tail bone and maybe one more time. Inhale, lift it, and exhale, round down and at the end of your final exhale, you may want to sit all the way back and just rest in child 's pose.
