Antique Pink Luster Collecting: Tableware Set

So when your collecting pink luster you want to collect a one piece or you just want to collect cups and saucers say you want to collect a set just to use on your dinnerware or as like this example that we have here. It is the complete a fairly complete tea set which is really unusual to find it's easier to find pieces like cups and saucers or single sugar bowl or sometimes when you find a teapot you'll find these teapots a lot of times there damaged. But this is really something that is a little harder to find out there not just the fact that it has all of these pieces with it but the fact that there in pretty good shape. There's no damaged to the teapot the sugar or the creamer so you can actually use this set if you want the cups and saucers are in really nice condition. So set right here your going to get a premium retail price so when you go out to look for a set like this I'm expect to pay anywhere upwards of 350-$500 for a set like this. You might find this set with less cups and saucers and maybe luncheon plates you might want to add luncheons plates and it's not easy and so when you buy this remember keep in mind that this tableware is not easy to find when you find it it's not always complete like this. More often than not you'll find a single teapot in varying conditions and people will add to it later if you find a common pattern this is a very common pattern the house pattern. A very desirable pattern you can add to it here's a teapot one example of a house pattern teapot but there's many different shapes in a house pattern so you could really add to this set in a house pattern but with different shapes. It's all very subjective which you want to collect but there are a lot of this typical pattern out there and some people it doesn't matter what the patterns are. Just want to collect pink luster in general so it's a really subjective thing but when you collect in large collections like this one on the second shelf here this particular set here in my shop sells or $450. So it's a pretty high price if your beginning collector you might want to start just collecting you know smaller pieces like this and adding to it so there's a few examples of the different types of tableware that you might want to collect and how you might want to collect it.
