Microwave Safety Tips for Children

Microwaving which is the easy way out for heating up your children’s fruit or vegetables is not a very good idea because one can put the jar in and as soon as you open it up it can explode in your face, which is not really very good. So room temperature is really much more preferred than microwaves, even for bottles also. Because one can put the heat on what we think is a bit normal, like medium heat. But to a baby, it would burn it’s mouth.

It’s preferred when one has used the microwave to heat up the baby’s bottle to always squirt out a bit of the milk onto the wrist and see if it’s ok for the temperature there. If it is on your wrist fine, then for a child it should be ok. But actually, as a parent, we are finding out that it’s really much better to give a child tepid or room temperature bottles.
