Striking Moves in Indian Club Fitness Exercise Training
Hi my name is Julio Anta from Anta’s Fitness and Self Defense in Miami, Florida and my website is www.miamikettlebell.com and the next move that I am going to show you is great for marshal artists. I call it strikes. Pretty much is the same thing that people do in our neece and colley striking. So if you do our neece or colley this is great. This is heavier than the stick you use so it is going to make you faster and more powerful. Again, 3 fingers on the stem, 1 on the knob, grip it. Okay you got it from here. You’re going to stand straight, put 1 behind. This is pretty much a colley or neece move and I’m going to go slow first but everything is ballistic and swinging and.smooth and fluent You are going to come around and strike like you are striking someone in the head or collar bone and come back and you are going to strike and come back. So the move will look something like this. Strike come back, strike come back. You are going to be working your obliques and intercostals in this with your shoulders because of the turning motion and the striking motion. Again, great for marshal arts and we can reverse it also. It is a little more complicated but we could also reverse the move and come. Reverse the move but the easier way to do it is straight up and forth. Again, great for marshal artists and circular strength.
